Allyson Felix

Allyson Michel Felix was born on 18 November 1985 in Los Angeles. Paul Felix, her father was a pastor ordained of Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix worked at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix displayed an early talent for sports when she was studying at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Her sprinting potential at the at the time. In only 10 weeks following her first attempt, Felix placed 2nd in the 200-meter race in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix graduated from her high school education and was signed to a pro-contract to Adidas. In 2004 she began her studies at her first year at the University of Southern California, which is where she studied elementary education. The following year, Felix won her first Olympic medal during the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece making a junior world record by sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 seconds. In 2005, the Helsinki World Championships saw her become the youngest woman to win the 200 meter race. She defended the title by beating her Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix placed consistently in the top 3 in her various events during the Olympics which took place in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
