Allyson Felix
Allyson Michel Felix was born on the 18th of November 1985, in Los Angeles. The father of the child, Paul Felix is an ordained minister of the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. Her mother Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix had an early aptitude to play sports while studying at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Felix discovered her athletic ability at the moment. Within a short time after her initial attempt, she was 2nd in the 200-meter race in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was signed to an official career at Adidas in 2003. She later enrolled in University of Southern California to learn about elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics which took place at Athens Greece. She broke the Junior World Record sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 seconds. She was the world's youngest champion in 200 meters in the Helsinki World Championships. She won the title again in 2007 beating her former Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix was a frequent competitor in London, Beijing Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo. She always finished within the top three places of every event.
