Kelly Nash grew up in Davie, Florida a city situated outside Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Kelly Nash was raised boating and fishing along with her father Ed Nash. Kaitlyn Nash is her sister . Carolyn Nash is her brother. Kelly Nash is of English, Irish, Swedish, and Portuguese Ethnic group. Her great-grandfather emigrated into the United States from Portugal.



 Since the age of five, Kelly Nash was a avid fan of the Miami Marlins. Although Nash had a passion for sports at an early age, she always thought she would become a news reporter. Kelly Nash, a 2006 graduate of Clemson University in Clemson (South Carolina), with the degree of Bachelor of Communication as well as Media Studies. Then, she graduated from Clemson with Master's degree in Youth Development Leadership in the year 2009. In exchange for covering the Sports Information Department's teams of Soccer and Baseball She was also awarded an all-sports scholarship from the Clemson Athletic Department.



 Kelly Nash, a MLB Network studio host, is featured on multiple shows which include Quick Pitch, the nightly highlights program. She is also an NHL Network Studio host, Participating on the Nightly Game recap Show, On The Fly. She joined the MLB Network in March 2015. In the year 2015 she began contributing to the NHL Network.
